Rooted in Experience
My name is Alex MacBean. I started learning my way around a chainsaw at 16 years old, working alongside my father, a former logger. That early hands on experience taught me how to work efficiently, respect the risks involved, and understand how trees behave when they’re cut. Lessons that still shape how I approach tree work today.
I later moved to Victoria, BC, where I worked as a climbing arborist on some of the largest trees in the country. The work there was highly technical and required strong climbing, rigging, and decision making skills at height. Victoria is also one of the most heavily regulated cities in Canada when it comes to tree protection and by laws, which meant strict adherence to proper pruning standards, permits, and best practices on every job.
During that time, I gained extensive experience pruning trees of all sizes from young ornamentals to large to mature canopies with a focus on structure, safety, and longevity.
I am currently pursuing a career in aircraft maintenance. While doing so, I continue to take on high level tree work on a limited basis, focusing on technical pruning, removals, and climbing-intensive jobs.
White Wolf Tree Service was built to offer straightforward, professional tree work: clear pricing, clean sites, and no pressure. Whether it’s pruning, removals, or technical climbing work, the goal is to do the job safely and correctly the first time.
